Avcon Obtains Mexican DGAC Approval of Lear 35/36 TCAS II

Avcon Industries, Inc. announces that the Mexican DGAC has validated approval of the Avcon Supplemental Type Certificate for installation of the Garmin TCAS II system in the Learjet Model 35/35A/36/36A airplane.

In October of 2021, Avcon obtained Federal Aviation Administration approval of the installation of the Garmin® GTS™ 8000 TCAS II – Change 7.1 modification, STC ST01881WI, for Learjet Model 35/35A/36/36A airplanes.  The system features the GTS 8000 TCAS II Processor, interface with existing compatible or newly installed TCAS II/transponder controllers and the RA/VSI displays.  The TCAS II installation is also compatible with the Avcon STC’d Garmin GTN™ 750 Xi upgrade in the Learjets.
