Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser Focal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring purchasing and shipping/receiving needs are executed to achieve scheduled requirements.
Duties
Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Establishing and coordinating the interaction between other departments and vendors.
- Manage and execute the quote and requisition process includes maintaining all records pertaining to each requisition.
- Directs material/parts planning and scheduling based on project schedule forecasts.
- Provide visibility to purchase parts delivery dates and project date needs.
- Provide visibility and manage part shortages, including coordination with Mfg planning for purchasing alternates when required.
- Process and maintain all records pertaining to each requisition.
- Shipping of any assets out for repair, packaging, boxing, shipping documentation.
- Box, package, and ship.
- Gathering parts as required
- Assist in obtaining the certification of parts (CofC or 8130 documents)
- Obtain for packaging, the packing list, export docs (if reqd), packaging, running labels.
- Ensure makes delivery.
- Pick up/Deliver packages to and from shippers and or post office as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and tools is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze pricing structures effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- May have to lift up to 30LBS
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk around, and lift
- Must have a valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
